Product & UX Designer who builds systems that work - shaped by 20 years of designing for real users, real constraints, and real stakes.

I turn complex, multi-stakeholder problems into clear, accessible digital products that balance what users need with what businesses require.

Background

I spent 20 years building and running systems that actually had to work: programs, operations, and digital infrastructure across international education, recreation, and cross-cultural environments.

Designing for diverse users under tight deadlines with limited resources . . . that's not a classroom exercise for me - it's a Tuesday.

Transition to UX

The pivot to product design wasn't a career change - it was a recognition. As Head of Administration during COVID, I identified a strategic problem: our school's fragmented digital presence was costing us enrollment and trust.

I redesigned the entire ecosystem (website, communications, and user-facing systems) from the ground up.

The result: enrollment grew from 67 to 150+ students. That's when the work clicked into a title: this is product design, and it's where I'm most effective.

What I Bring

I bring something most designers at this stage can't: I've managed the stakeholders, worked within real constraints, and felt the consequences of design decisions firsthand.

I think in systems, communicate well across functions, stay calm when things don't go as planned, and design solutions built to last.
